Nursing Teacher (Temporary Full‑time)

About the role

TAFE Queensland is seeking a qualified Nursing Teacher to join its Ipswich Campus on a temporary full‑time basis until 23 October 2026. The role involves delivering nursing education through classroom, online, and workplace settings, with occasional travel across the South West region.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging nursing curriculum using a variety of delivery methods.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare lesson materials and resources in line with industry standards.
• Collaborate with the Educational Team Leader and other staff to maintain high teaching quality.
• Travel to regional sites as required to support workplace‑based learning.

Required profile

• Recent industry experience in nursing.
• Relevant nursing qualifications and certifications.
• Passion for sharing knowledge with diverse learners.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
