Node.js & JavaScript Backend Developer

About the role

Tradeweb is seeking a performance‑driven backend Node.js developer to help evolve its event‑driven microservices platform. You will work remotely with a global team of engineers, product managers and designers to deliver high‑impact trading applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and QA to deliver end‑to‑end software solutions.
• Coordinate with international development teams on architecture and engineering decisions.
• Work closely with DevOps to ensure reliable deployment and scaling of microservices.
• Maintain automated unit tests and practice test‑driven development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional web‑application development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for a distributed, international team.
