About the role
Join the Australian Navy as a Doctor and provide medical care to service personnel and community members both at sea and on shore. You will work in fully equipped facilities alongside nursing, administrative and allied health teams, gaining unique experience in diverse environments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver primary and emergency medical services to Navy personnel aboard ships and at shore bases.
- Support health initiatives for local communities in need.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary health teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain medical records and adhere to Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) standards.
Required profile
- Australian citizenship and minimum age of 17 at appointment.
- Enrolment in or completion of an AHPRA‑approved medical degree program.
- For graduate entry, a Bachelor of Medicine and current AHPRA registration.
- Ability to obtain a placement at an accredited Australian university.
