Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum-aligned instruction for designated year levels on Dauan, Yorke, Yam, or Thursday Island campuses.
• Engage with students, families, and community members to support culturally responsive education.
• Adapt teaching strategies to remote, island settings and collaborate with fellow staff.
• Provide relief teaching in Science or Health & Physical Education where needed.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification.
• Full or provisional Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
• Australian working rights or a valid visa.
• Willingness to work in remote island locations and contribute to community life.
