Marketing Manager - InterContinental Brisbane

About the role

InterContinental Brisbane, a luxury hotel located above Queen Street Mall, is undergoing a refurbishment and enhancement program. Working alongside the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Marketing Manager will help lead the hotel's repositioning and relaunch through campaigns, storytelling, partnerships, communications, public relations and guest engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement and revenue across the hotel.
• Manage the digital marketing ecosystem: website content, social media, email marketing and online campaigns.
• Create compelling content and storytelling showcasing the hotel's luxury experiences, venues and offerings.
• Build relationships with media, influencers, tourism partners and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Sales, Food & Beverage and Operations on campaigns supporting commercial objectives.
• Oversee marketing collateral, photography, videography, brand assets and promotional materials in line with InterContinental brand standards.
• Monitor campaign performance, digital analytics and market trends to maximise ROI.
• Manage marketing budgets and agency relationships, and identify new partnerships and activations.
• Lead marketing coordination of renovation milestones, new product launches and guest experience enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in hospitality or marketing.
• Tertiary studies in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media or a related field.
• Fluent in English; full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
• Proven ability to work with external vendors, strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, creative mindset, and experience managing budgets and resources.
