IT Systems Admin – Infrastructure & Cloud

About the role

Join a growing IT team supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms and cybersecurity initiatives for a well‑established Australian organisation. Based in Adelaide's southern suburbs, you will work on a variety of technologies and critical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support and secure on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, acting as the primary L2/L3 escalation point.
• Maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, VMware and Hyper‑V environments.
• Manage backups, perform restore testing and assist with disaster recovery planning.
• Contribute to cybersecurity controls aligned with Essential Eight, NIST and ISO 27001.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support, root‑cause analysis and work with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum three years' experience as a Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Analyst.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is advantageous.

Required skills

• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365.
• VMware and/or Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Backup and recovery solutions (preferably Veeam).
• Cloud platforms: Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as Essential Eight, NIST or ISO 27001.
