IT Project Manager – 2-Year Fixed-Term

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a major HRIS transformation across our Australian operations. This 2‑year fixed‑term position will be based onsite in Brisbane (or the Gold Coast) and will work closely with operational teams, People & Culture, Finance and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle for the new HRIS, from design and build through testing, implementation and adoption.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, regulatory and business requirements.
• Provide regular project reporting to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, steering committees and project forums.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, analysts, technical leads and third‑party vendors.
• Support change‑management activities and training to drive user adoption.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end IT projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting and risk‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage external vendors.
• Willingness to travel interstate as required and work flexible hours aligned to project needs.

Required skills

• HRIS implementation experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or PRINCE2 certification.
