About the role

Lifebyte System is looking for a proactive IT Operations Technician to deliver day‑to‑day technical assistance across the organization. You will handle service requests and incident tickets, support hardware and software issues, and ensure users receive timely, effective support while gaining exposure to infrastructure, endpoint management, and security practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Review, prioritize, and resolve incident and service request tickets in a timely manner.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and ticket closure details.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and standard business applications.
  • Support Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, email, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and office productivity tools.
  • Assist with onboarding and off‑boarding activities, including device setup and account management.
  • Perform basic MDM tasks such as device enrollment, compliance checks, and policy application.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, internet access).
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, repairs, and support activities.
  • Prepare simple user guides, knowledge‑base articles, and support documentation.
  • Follow company IT security, data privacy, and access‑control procedures.

Required profile

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 2‑3 years of experience in IT support, service desk, desktop support, or IT operations.
  • Hands‑on experience with an ITSM or ticketing system, preferably Jira Service Management.
  • Understanding of ITSM ticket types, SLA concepts, and escalation processes.

Required skills

  • Windows and macOS troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, email support.
  • VPN, Wi‑Fi, LAN networking basics.
  • Printer and scanner support.
  • Endpoint management and basic MDM tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune).
  • Jira Service Management or similar ticketing platforms.
  • ITSM processes and SLA management.
