IT Operations Technician

About the role

TMGM is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented IT Operations Technician to deliver day‑to‑day technical assistance across the organisation. The role involves handling service requests and incident tickets, troubleshooting hardware and software, and ensuring users receive timely support while gaining exposure to infrastructure, endpoint management and security practices.

Key responsibilities

• Review, prioritise and resolve incident and service request tickets within SLA.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices and standard business applications.
• Support Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, email, VPN, Wi‑Fi and office productivity tools.
• Assist with onboarding and off‑boarding activities, including device setup and account management.
• Perform basic MDM tasks such as device enrolment, compliance checks and policy application.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, internet access).
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, repairs and ticket history.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolution notes and create simple user guides or knowledge‑base articles.

• Proactive, detail‑oriented attitude with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and meet SLA commitments.
• Good communication skills for interacting with end‑users and escalating issues when needed.
