HR Business Partner – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

As an HR Business Partner for BASF Agricultural Solutions in Australia and New Zealand, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping people strategies that drive performance, engagement and sustainable growth. This high‑impact position blends strategic influence with hands‑on delivery across the full employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with the ANZ leadership team to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end‑to‑end HR activities including talent and succession planning, organisational design, change management and employee relations.
• Provide pragmatic HR advice that complies with Australian and New Zealand legislation.
• Support leaders through transformation initiatives, applying structured change‑management approaches.
• Collaborate with regional HR teams to deliver performance, reward, talent attraction and leadership development processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and inclusion initiatives while remaining hands‑on with HR systems and day‑to‑day activities as needed.

Required profile

• Strong experience as an HR Business Partner in a complex, corporate environment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and translate business priorities into practical people solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of ANZ employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven track record in change management, organisational design and talent development.
