Handyperson – Property Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Handyperson to join our team at Mantra on Sydney Airport. You will be responsible for keeping the hotel’s rooms, amenities and communal areas in top condition, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair guest rooms, public spaces and back‑of‑house areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance projects and respond to urgent issues.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping, front‑desk and external contractors.
• Identify potential problems early and implement effective solutions.

Required profile

• Physically fit with a proactive, “get‑up‑and‑go” attitude.
• Previous hands‑on experience in general building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
