Front End Web Developer – Craft CMS Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a talented Front End Developer with deep experience in Craft CMS to join our dynamic team. You will create engaging, responsive, and accessible web experiences while collaborating closely with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise websites on Craft CMS, including content modelling and custom fields.
• Configure and customise Craft plugins and tailor the control panel for content authors.
• Build reusable front‑end templates using Twig with a focus on performance and maintainability.
• Implement semantic HTML5, modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, Sass/SCSS) and JavaScript (ES6+) for mobile‑first interfaces.
• Use build tools such as Vite or Webpack and conduct cross‑browser/device testing.
• Apply WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and optimise performance (image optimisation, Core Web Vitals).
• Collaborate via Git, code reviews and CI pipelines, handling both routine updates and larger feature development.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and maintaining sites on Craft CMS.
• Strong knowledge of Twig templating and Craft element queries.
• Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS (Flexbox, Grid), JavaScript ES6+ and responsive design.
• Experience with Sass/SCSS and modern build tools (Vite, Webpack).
• Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and performance optimisation.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Working knowledge of PHP for integration within Craft.
