Freight Forwarder – Transport (Sydney)

About the role

DSV is looking for a motivated Freight Forwarder to manage domestic transportation of international shipments in Sydney. You will ensure shipments move smoothly, meet customer expectations and support the company’s profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a customer‑first experience by meeting delivery timelines and KPI targets.
• Plan, prioritize and coordinate domestic transport movements using the Transport Workbench.
• Manage transport jobs end‑to‑end, balancing service quality with cost efficiency.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Identify and resolve documentation, load or space issues proactively.
• Enter accurate data, process financials and continuously seek process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong communicator able to influence and present ideas clearly.
• Detail‑oriented, deadline‑driven and procedure‑focused.
• Confident, resilient and proactive with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Proven experience in freight forwarding.
