Food Services Assistant

About the role

St Vincent's Care Services Carina is looking for a Food Services Assistant to join its team in a homely, community-oriented setting surrounded by landscaped gardens. The role delivers high-quality, nourishing meals for residents, and the employer asks candidates to explain why they want to work there.

Required profile

• Background in an aged care facility, hospital or commercial catering environment supporting high-quality food delivery.
• Warm, empathetic demeanour with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of aged care resident rights, care plans and dietary requirements.
• Dedication to catering services aligned with values of dignity, trust and respect.
• Valid NCCHC (less than 6 months old) or willingness to obtain one; NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain it if required.
