Firefighter – Fire & Rescue Operations (East Sale, VIC)

About the role

Join Ventia’s Fire Services team at East Sale, VIC, providing fire and rescue operations for Defence assets. You will work alongside experienced firefighters responding to airfield, structural and bushfire incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain operational readiness in line with procedures and safety standards.
• Respond to fire incidents, including airfield, structural and bushfire emergencies.
• Complete all administrative duties linked to operational tasks.
• Participate in regular training, drills and competency assessments.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements and operational protocols.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship with ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance (Negative Vetting 1 – secret).
• Pass Australian Federal Police check and CASA Basic Class 2 medical.
• Hold a current HR drivers licence.
• Provide evidence of Certificate II or Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations).
