Fire Sprinkler Technician

About the role

The Fire Sprinkler Technician joins a multi‑skilled team at OASIS to maintain and repair wet and dry fire suppression systems. The role supports reliable facility operations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, test and maintain fire sprinklers, extinguishers and associated infrastructure according to standards.
• Repair and install components of wet and dry suppression systems, coordinating with operational staff for system impairments.
• Identify deficiencies, perform corrective work and keep accurate records of maintenance activities.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a TS/SCI or higher security clearance.
• Minimum 2 years experience in facility maintenance or fire system service.
• Strong knowledge of WHS Act, EHS policies and facility O&M requirements.
• Ability to handle moderate to heavy loads and work in confined or uneven environments.

Required skills

• NICET II or III – Inspection and Testing of Water‑Based Systems.
• NICET I or II – Fire Alarm and Special Hazards Systems (desirable).
• Experience with Notifier fire alarm systems.
• Trade qualification and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Archibus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
