Financial Planner - Superannuation

About the role

A well-established industry super fund serving the construction industry is looking for a Financial Planner to join its team in Brisbane. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will deliver quality, personalised financial advice to members, mainly by phone and face-to-face appointments, with a focus on superannuation and retirement planning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal and general financial advice to fund members.
• Help members make informed decisions about their superannuation and retirement goals.
• Build positive relationships and provide an exceptional member experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve member engagement, satisfaction and retention.
• Stay up to date with superannuation legislation, industry developments and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain high standards of compliance while acting in members' best interests.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Financial Planner.
• Relevant Financial Planning qualifications and successful completion of the Financial Adviser exam.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
• Experience with Xplan or Industry Fund Services is an advantage but not essential.
