About the role
Our client, a leading franchised new‑car dealership group, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their corporate head office in Canberra. This full‑time, on‑site role offers a dynamic environment where you will support strategic decision‑making through robust financial analysis and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review and analyse financial statements and reports.
- Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial data.
- Monitor budgets, forecast performance and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide data‑driven insights to senior management for business decisions.
- Assist in strategic financial planning and long‑term financial modelling.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as CPA or CA is advantageous.
- Prior experience in the automotive industry is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy.
