Finance Manager - All IT Services

About the role

All IT Services, an operating company within Lyra Technology Group, is looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join its team in Brookvale, Sydney. Reporting to the CEO, you will own the finance function, give trusted commercial advice to senior leadership and support the company's growth. A key focus is supporting the move from Xero to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, including month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations and compliance
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reports with commentary for the CEO and SLT
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning, including budget vs actual analysis
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations such as AP, AR, payroll, banking, billing, collections and supplier payments
• Manage tax and statutory obligations including BAS/GST, PAYG, payroll tax, FBT and year-end requirements
• Lead the transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including migration, testing, cutover and ongoing improvements
• Partner with business leaders on commercial analysis, pricing, profitability and process improvement

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in financial accounting, finance management or a similar senior finance role
• CA qualification or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Experience managing Australian compliance requirements (BAS/GST, PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, FBT)
• Experience with payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and financial controls and segregation of duties

Required skills

• Strong hands-on Xero experience, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or ability to learn it quickly
• ERP migration experience (data migration, chart of accounts, testing, cutover, parallel running)
• Advanced Excel, including lookups, pivot tables and financial modelling
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
