Family Lawyer – 4+ years experience – Hybrid (Claremont)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join our Claremont practice. The role offers a hybrid working model with up to two days remote per week and the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload from divorce to complex financial settlements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own files end‑to‑end, from client intake through to final resolution.
• Work closely with a paralegal to coordinate daily tasks and deadlines.
• Advise clients on property, parenting, maintenance and child support matters.
• Draft legal documents, negotiate settlements and appear in court or mediations.
• Collaborate with senior directors on particularly complex cases.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years post‑admission experience in family law.
• Demonstrated competence across property, parenting and financial matters.
• Strong drafting ability, meticulous attention to detail and effective file management.
• Client‑first mindset with clear, empathetic communication.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
