Entry-Level Hybrid Recruiter (Part-Time)

About the role

This part-time, entry-level Recruiter position is based in Melbourne and follows a hybrid work model, combining on-site days with remote work. You will help source and engage candidates for community initiatives, partner organisations and finance-related roles, ensuring a smooth and inclusive hiring experience.

Key responsibilities

• Post job opportunities on LinkedIn, Facebook, job boards and other channels.
• Screen applications, schedule interviews and coordinate interview logistics.
• Maintain candidate databases and tracking tools, keeping records up-to-date.
• Assist in organising recruitment events, webinars and outreach activities with universities and early-career professionals.
• Prepare basic reports on candidate pipelines and recruitment metrics.
• Collaborate with community leaders to communicate consistently with candidates.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on relationship-building.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, able to juggle multiple vacancies.
• Interest in recruitment, HR or talent acquisition and a willingness to learn.
• Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory hiring practices.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as Hebrew are a plus.
• Relevant academic background in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related fields.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital sourcing tools and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, job boards).
• Experience using spreadsheets for data tracking.
• Familiarity with simple CRM/ATS systems for candidate management.
• Attention to detail and basic administrative capabilities.
