Electrical Supervisor

About the role

The Electrical Supervisor will lead an electrical team in installing and maintaining railway signalling equipment across sites from Northside Brisbane to Beerwah, Queensland. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will work closely with engineers and project staff to ensure designs are met and projects stay on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the electrical team to carry out installation works according to design specifications.
• Promote and enforce health, safety and environmental standards on site.
• Develop, implement and monitor construction plans for time, cost and quality.
• Monitor work for compliance with engineering designs, client standards and statutory regulations.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Install and maintain railway signalling components such as signals, train stops, point machines, track circuits and level crossings.

Required profile

• Valid Electrical or Electrical Mechanic licence.
• Certificate IV in Rail Signaling.
• Significant supervisory experience in the railway industry.
• White/Blue Card and Rail Industry workers card.
• Clean driver’s licence.
• Practical and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Installation of railway signalling equipment.
• Maintenance of railway signalling equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
