About the role

Eden Academy in Cranbourne is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our child‑safe centre. You will work in a bright, natural‑light environment that supports 108 children aged from birth to kindergarten, fostering curiosity, independence and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels seen and supported.
• Facilitate meaningful conversations that inspire a lifelong love of learning.
• Collaborate with families and the local community to support each child’s development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑stocked indoor and outdoor play environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA‑approved equivalent.
• Current Working with Children Check and full Australian working rights.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Professional, polished presence with a warm, approachable demeanor.
• Two professional references, one from a manager or supervisor in childcare or education.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Familiarity with the National Quality Standards (NQS).
