Director, Procurement and Supply Chain

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Director of Procurement and Supply Chain will lead a high‑performing function within NSW’s largest private hospital. The role focuses on delivering strong commercial outcomes, enhancing stakeholder experience, and supporting clinical excellence across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, supply chain operations, inventory management, logistics and in‑house biomedical engineering services.
• Lead enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives, including operating model redesign, automation, workforce restructuring and process optimisation.
• Partner with business leaders to influence change and translate complex data into actionable insights for clinical and operational decision‑making.
• Manage supplier performance and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Required profile

• Significant senior leadership experience in healthcare procurement or supply chain environments.
• Advanced strategic procurement and commercial acumen with a strong understanding of hospital operations.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale transformation, operating model redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder environments.
