Desktop Support Technician – Part‑time (Gold Coast)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Desktop Support Technician to provide on‑site and remote IT assistance to home and business users across the Gold Coast. This part‑time position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to transition to a permanent full‑time role.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues with emails, internet connectivity, printers, and operating systems (Windows and macOS).
• Perform hardware troubleshooting, data recovery, and software installation for desktops and laptops.
• Travel to client locations across various suburbs to deliver on‑site support.
• Document service tickets and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of demonstrated desktop troubleshooting experience (Australia or overseas).
• Strong verbal communication and customer‑facing skills.
• Own vehicle and a valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Based in Gold Coast with the right to work in Australia.
• Self‑motivated, quick thinker with a go‑getter attitude.
