Desktop Support Specialist – Brisbane

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to join its Brisbane team. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent IT graduates or diploma holders who want to start a career supporting end‑user devices and services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑user computing (EUC) support for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners and kiosks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and understand business priorities.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors for equipment delivery and issue escalation.
• Apply ITIL practices, manage incidents (P1‑P4), requests, changes and problems.
• Follow on‑call procedures for critical issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Deliver customer service via phone, email and live chat.
• Identify and implement process improvements within agreed timelines.
• Participate in IT projects, providing technical expertise as required.
• Maintain availability of end‑user devices and adhere to enterprise standards.

Required profile

• IT Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (freshers welcome).
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work with vendors and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 (user provisioning).
• Understanding of ITSM processes and ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management.
• Basic knowledge of imaging, printer and kiosk support.
