Data Engineer

About the role

The Data Engineer will join Moose Toys’ Data Analytics team to design, build and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines that feed analytics and reporting solutions. Reporting to the Data Analytics Manager, the role works closely with global stakeholders to turn business requirements into reliable, well‑structured data products. The position also leverages AI tools to accelerate development, documentation and troubleshooting across the data stack.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain ingestion pipelines using Fivetran and Snowflake‑native loaders to bring data from Oracle, SaaS platforms and external marketplaces into Snowflake.
• Develop transformation workflows in Coalesce.io to model raw data into performant, documented dimensional layers.
• Implement data quality controls with Coalesce.io to monitor schema drift, freshness and anomalies.
• Manage Snowflake objects (tables, views, schemas, shares) while optimizing performance, enforcing RBAC and controlling costs.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and semantic models for business users.
• Utilize AI tools such as Relevance AI and Anthropic Claude to speed up pipeline development and issue resolution.
