Cyber Security Specialist – Agentic AI Security

About the role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to lead the emerging field of Agentic AI security for a fast‑growing Australian technology scale‑up. Based in Brisbane, you will define and implement security controls for autonomous AI agents operating in production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy security controls for autonomous AI agents in live systems.
• Conduct red‑team exercises and threat‑modeling for prompt injection, tool misuse, and agent‑to‑agent interactions.
• Build defensive architectures to mitigate emerging agentic threats.
• Shape the overall security strategy as AI capabilities expand.

Required profile

• Deep, hands‑on experience in AI/LLM or agentic systems security.
• Proven ability to anticipate and counter novel AI‑related threats.
• Strong technical credibility with the capacity to influence senior leadership.
• Based in Brisbane (Bowen Hills preferred) and able to work onsite.
