Customer Service Team Member

About the role

The Customer Service Team Member joins a busy retail environment, supporting store operations and delivering a sales‑focused experience for customers. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will help maintain store standards, manage transactions and ensure multi‑channel fulfilment runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash handling and tendering transactions in line with store procedures.
• Manage multi‑channel order fulfilment, stock integrity and inventory control.
• Answer telephone enquiries and support marketing and promotional activities.
• Control controllable expenses and contribute to financial performance.
• Collaborate with team members to provide a consistent, positive customer experience and resolve complaints.
• Maintain store merchandising, in‑store marketing and presentation standards.
• Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge through online learning platforms.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focused attitude with the ability to handle cash and transactions accurately.
• Effective communication skills for telephone and face‑to‑face interactions.
• Team player who can work collaboratively in a fast‑paced retail setting.
• Willingness to learn product ranges and improve sales techniques.
