Customer Service Officer

About the role

The Customer Service Officer is the friendly face of the Gympie Aquatic Recreation Centre, delivering exceptional experiences to members and visitors both in person and over the phone. You will guide prospective members through the enrolment process and ensure existing members receive accurate information and support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding guest service in person and via telephone.
• Answer enquiries, give accurate information and conduct tours to convert visitors into members.
• Process memberships, perform data entry and maintain records according to company policies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all centre services, activities and programmes.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system responsibly.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse audience.
• Team‑oriented mindset and a track record of meeting collective and individual targets.
• Demonstrates integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect, leadership and accountability.
• Available to work weekends.
