Customer Data Engineer

About the role

Gridsight is building the analytics platform that powers the next generation of electricity grids. As a Customer Data Engineer you will bridge the gap between utility customers and our platform, ensuring data is onboarded quickly, accurately, and at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with utility customers to explain data requirements, formats, and delivery processes.
• Review incoming data against expected schemas and quality standards, providing clear feedback.
• Onboard customer data using existing tooling and transformation workflows.
• Identify manual steps in the onboarding process and develop automation or tooling improvements.
• Drive data deliveries to completion, managing timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Escalate and resolve complex customer situations such as incomplete data or shifting priorities.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills; able to explain technical data needs to non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive, self‑directed, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
