CRM Manager

About the role

Marley Spoon is seeking an experienced CRM Manager to own the CRM function for its Australian brands Marley Spoon and Dinnerly. This hands‑on role blends strategy with creative execution, turning CRM into an always‑on retail channel that drives faster and more frequent purchases.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Australian CRM strategy and targets across conversion, repeat purchase, retention and win‑back.
• Lead AI‑first CRM initiatives, using AI for copy, personalization, segmentation, testing and reporting.
• Manage the CRM calendar across email, push, SMS and in‑app, aligning sends with menu, recipes, seasonal moments and brand campaigns.
• Work with the creative team to brief, review and produce fit‑for‑channel assets.
• Merchandise recipes, add‑ons and market products in every send to grow basket size and attach rates.
• Write campaign copy using AI tools and brand guidelines.
• Partner with the CRM Analyst to build audience segments based on behavior and lifecycle stage.
• Run structured experimentation programmes and own performance reporting.
• Develop automation roadmaps and ensure compliance with the Australian Spam Act and ACMA requirements.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on CRM experience in subscription, retail or e‑commerce environments.
• Proven track record of meeting CRM targets and delivering profitable growth.
• Action‑oriented, comfortable owning numbers and driving results without a large team.
• AI‑first mindset, quick to adopt new tools and iterate fast.
• Willingness to adjust schedule for overlap with European colleagues.

Required skills

• Experience with a CRM platform such as Iterable or Braze.
• Technical skills in Handlebars, Liquid or SQL.
• Strong segmentation and analytical abilities.
• Copywriting proficiency using AI tools.
