Concierge – Luxury Hotel Guest Services

About the role

The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Hobart, is seeking a Concierge to deliver refined, personalized service that enhances every guest’s stay. Working closely with all hotel departments, you will coordinate preferences, special requests, and VIP arrangements to ensure seamless and memorable experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional concierge services in line with Luxury Collection brand standards.
• Coordinate guest preferences, transportation, dining reservations, and local experiences before and during the stay.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local attractions, events, and cultural experiences to offer tailored recommendations.
• Build and sustain relationships with local businesses, attractions, and tourism operators.
• Oversee the Bell team (porters and valets) to ensure professional luggage handling and transportation coordination.
• Support VIP arrivals, special occasions, and bespoke guest experiences.
• Maintain the presentation and professionalism of the concierge desk and lobby area.
• Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 + years experience in a concierge or similar guest‑services role.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all hotel departments.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Hobart’s attractions, restaurants, and events.
• Proficiency in coordinating transportation and reservation services.
• Leadership ability to guide the Bell team.
