Commercial Electrician – Reactive & Projects

About the role

A well-established electrical services provider serving metropolitan and regional areas is looking for an electrician to deliver safe, high-quality electrical services on commercial sites and Government housing. The role focuses on reactive maintenance and small project work, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Attend reactive service and maintenance callouts across commercial sites
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely
• Complete small electrical project works from start to finish
• Carry out electrical works in Government housing properties
• Complete job sheets, compliance documentation and testing records
• Ensure all work meets Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 3000

Required profile

• Current Victorian A Grade Electrician's Licence
• Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance and service work
• Experience in Government housing or residential maintenance highly regarded
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Residence in Melbourne's western suburbs or within 5-10 km of the CBD

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and electrical safety compliance
• Electrical fault diagnosis and rectification

• Pay of $50-$60 per hour plus superannuation and a company van, negotiable based on experience
