Civil Supervisors, Site Engineers & Project Engineers – Road Infrastructure

About the role

Consultive is partnering with established Tier 2, 3 and 4 civil contractors delivering major road and transport infrastructure projects across the western, central and south-eastern growth corridors of Melbourne. The clients are seeking experienced Civil Supervisors, Site Engineers and Project Engineers to support the delivery of road upgrades, freeways, drainage, structures, pavements and other civil infrastructure. Permanent and contract opportunities are available.

Key responsibilities

• Civil Supervisors: coordinate day-to-day site operations and subcontractor activities; manage safety, quality and program outcomes; lead construction crews across road, drainage, pavement and structures packages; monitor productivity and progress; ensure compliance with project specifications, SWMS and traffic management requirements.
• Site Engineers: site coordination and construction support; manage quality assurance documentation and inspections; coordinate subcontractors, surveyors and suppliers; manage RFIs, project records and engineering documentation; monitor progress against schedules.
• Project Engineers: manage project delivery, forecasting and cost control; coordinate subcontractors, procurement and project resources; drive construction programs and project performance; manage stakeholder relationships with clients, consultants and project teams.

Required profile

• Experience on civil construction, road or transport infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience as a Civil Supervisor, Site Engineer or Project Engineer.
• Knowledge of roadworks, pavements, drainage, earthworks and structures.
• Relevant Civil Engineering or Civil Construction qualifications.
• Current White Card and Australian driver's licence, full Australian working rights.

What we offer

• Permanent roles: salary of $90,000 to $200,000 plus superannuation and vehicle allowance.
• Contract roles: $450 to $1,000+ per day plus superannuation depending on experience and project requirements.
