Civil Supervisor

About the role

CPP, a high-voltage infrastructure provider within Quanta Services, is looking for a Civil Supervisor to work closely with its Construction and Site Managers. The role is responsible for delivering civil site works and managing onsite workers, personnel and contractors, acting as the link between site teams, clients, management, the HSE team, subcontractors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver civil site works and manage onsite workers, personnel and contractors
• Act as the interface between stakeholders so that key deliverables are met
• Provide empowering leadership through mentoring, support and consultation with site staff
• Work with the Construction and Site Managers on civil works across transmission lines, renewables and utility projects

Required profile

• Certificate III or IV in Civil Construction (essential); tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering are highly regarded
• Strong people skills, able to motivate and coordinate people at all levels
• Demonstrated knowledge of SQE
• Effective negotiation skills
• Knowledge of the high voltage infrastructure industry is highly regarded
• Travel on a 10/4 roster is required if the candidate is not local to the project
