Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel Kitchen

About the role

As a Chef de Partie at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high‑quality dishes across In‑Room Dining, Banquets, and the MODE Kitchen & Bar. You will work closely with a talented culinary team to ensure every plate meets the brand’s standards of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes in line with Four Seasons recipes and quality standards.
• Manage your designated kitchen section to ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation throughout service periods.
• Support training and development of Commis Chefs and junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising food waste.

Required profile

• Passion for culinary excellence and creating memorable dining experiences.
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef in a quality restaurant, hotel, or luxury hospitality environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and ability to perform in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
• Experience with stock control and waste minimisation.
