Catering Attendant – Canberra Airport

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Catering Attendant to join our Canberra Airport team. In this full‑time permanent role you will help prepare and service meals for airline passengers, ensuring a high‑quality dining experience on board.

Key responsibilities

• Handle, plate and set meal trays according to visual presentation guides.
• Stock airline carts with dry store items, crockery, cutlery, glassware, packaged snacks and beverages.
• Load and unload wash lines, inspecting cutlery, crockery and glassware for condition.
• Follow food safety, HACCP and hygiene standards and cleaning schedules.
• Coordinate with team members to meet delivery times and service targets.

Required profile

• Strong numerical ability and good verbal and written communication.
• Physical capacity to stand for long periods, lift and move items, and work a 7‑day roster.
• Neat and tidy presentation.
• Clear National Police Check.
• Availability for 38 hours per week in a full‑time permanent position.
