About the role

Curaleaf International is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its Brisbane team. This full‑time hybrid position will focus on identifying new market opportunities, building client relationships, and driving growth for the company’s cannabis‑related products and services.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to uncover emerging trends and potential customers.
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close new business deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including product, operations, and compliance—to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Maintain and expand existing client relationships to maximize revenue.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market presence across Australia and the broader region.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or market research.
  • Strong client relationship management and contract negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in the cannabis industry or related sectors is a plus.
