Business Development Executive - Mackay

About the role

As a Business Development Executive you will ensure our products are visible, available and delivering great experiences for customers across the Mackay region. This fast‑paced field sales role involves daily travel, building relationships and uncovering new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with existing customers.
• Monitor competitor activity and customer trends to provide market insights.
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure product availability and promotional success.
• Deliver regular reporting on sales performance, opportunities and market intelligence.

Required profile

• Valid Australian driver’s licence with willingness to travel throughout the territory.
• Strong communicator able to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Organised, strategic and confident in planning and prioritising work.
• Problem‑solver who turns challenges into opportunities.
• Resilient, energetic and able to thrive through change.
• FMCG, retail or convenience experience is an advantage (not essential).
