AVP Application Infrastructure and Service Management

About the role

The role supports the production of Charles River IMS systems for multiple clients as part of State Street’s SaaS Operations. You will work closely with clients, engineering, and QA teams to deliver application administration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical assistance requests via Teams and Email, with minimal travel.
• Diagnose software issues, recommend solutions, and test workarounds.
• Collaborate with engineering/QA to resolve deficiencies and research third‑party software issues.
• Maintain detailed logs of customer interactions and prepare resolution reports.
• Manage special projects, environment sizing, and configuration documentation for Azure migrations.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with SQL and relational database theory.
• Experience with one or more structured programming languages and development tools.
• Understanding of the trading life‑cycle and system development life‑cycle is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with a detail‑oriented, analytical mindset.
