About the role
As an Autism Friendly Consultant you will join a collaborative team of autistic and non‑autistic staff to deliver consultancy projects that make travel, leisure, retail and community spaces more inclusive. The role is primarily community‑based with the flexibility to work from our Melbourne office.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support autism‑friendly consultancy projects across multiple industries.
- Conduct environmental assessments and walkthroughs.
- Produce clear assessment reports and practical implementation plans.
- Develop training resources, sensory maps and visual stories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, timelines and project communications.
- Support autism‑friendly events and initiatives.
- Travel interstate as required.
Required profile
- Organised, collaborative and passionate about inclusion.
- Experience managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong written communication and report‑writing abilities.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Understanding of contemporary autism inclusion practices.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to travel interstate.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience.
