Audit Manager

About the role

Join CFS’s Internal Audit function as a Manager, delivering independent assurance and trusted advice across the organisation. You will work within the Third Line of Accountability, collaborating with business units, the Board and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the risk‑based Internal Audit Plan covering operational, financial and regulatory risks.
• Execute audits in line with IIA Professional Standards and prepare concise audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with First and Second Line teams to support efficient assurance.
• Contribute to the development of the annual risk‑based audit plan and continuous improvement of audit methodology.
• Advocate good corporate governance, risk management and transparency across CFS.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience in risk management and/or internal audit, preferably in a highly regulated financial services environment.
• Experience auditing strategic, financial, regulatory and operational risks and assessing compliance with APRA prudential standards.
• Advanced communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior executives and stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, proactive working style and a degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, STEM or related discipline.
