About the role
The Associate, Institutional Sales will support ANZ's Institutional Bank in South Korea by delivering risk‑managed market solutions to corporate and institutional clients. This customer‑facing position combines sales execution with deep product knowledge across foreign exchange, rates and commodities.
Key responsibilities
- Maximise desk revenue by providing FX, interest‑rate and commodity solutions to target clients.
- Drive franchise growth and increase earnings per client through cross‑selling and collaboration with structuring and on‑shore sales teams.
- Partner with Relationship and on‑shore sales to manage client onboarding, identify opportunities and ensure smooth portfolio management.
- Promote the distribution of additional Markets products within the existing client base.
- Support the execution of ANZ’s Markets and International strategies for Institutional Sales in Korea.
- Maintain risk awareness, manage limits and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Work with Risk and Credit enablement partners to identify and mitigate portfolio risks.
Required profile
- Proven experience in global markets sales, preferably with corporate and institutional Korean clients.
- Strong knowledge of FX, rates and commodity products, market processes and relevant regulatory frameworks in Asia.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Customer‑focused mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.
