Android & iOS Mobile Developer (6-Month Contract)

About the role

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is launching a new mobile initiative and needs experienced iOS and Android engineers who can hit the ground running. This is a six‑month contract role working in a hybrid model (three days on‑site, two days remote).

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain high‑quality native iOS and Android applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers and QA to deliver scalable mobile solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance.
• Optimize app performance, stability and user experience, and resolve bugs and production incidents.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code and contribute to code reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on iOS and Android development experience.
• Proven track record of publishing mobile applications to the App Store and Google Play.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) programming.
• Native iOS and Android development.
• WebView integration, debugging and performance optimisation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third‑party SDK integrations.
