Accountant – Retail Jewellery (Sydney)

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join a small, collaborative team in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. This autonomous position works directly alongside operations within an international high‑end jewellery business.

Key responsibilities

• Accounting and financial reporting
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Payroll and employment compliance
• Taxation and ATO compliance (Public Officer)
• Cash flow management and banking
• Audit coordination and liaison with external accountants

Required profile

• Proven experience in an accounting or finance role
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, payroll and superannuation obligations
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP Business One or Attache (desirable)
• Experience dealing with the ATO, auditors, banks and external accountants
