Accountant

About the role

Catalyst Metals Ltd is seeking an Accountant to support the finance function of its Plutonic Gold Mine operations and future growth projects. Based in our Perth corporate office, you will work closely with the senior finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of Business Activity Statements and statutory tax returns.
• Perform bank reconciliations and month‑end close processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounts in line with accounting standards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and provide analytical insights for decision‑making.
• Reconcile sub‑ledgers to the general ledger and maintain financial record integrity.
• Prepare management accounts and reports.
• Process invoices, manage corporate credit cards and ensure timely payments.
• Complete general ledger reconciliations and manage PPSRs.
• Oversee data migration between ERP systems and collaborate on process improvements.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a commercial environment.
• Experience with joint‑venture accounting, preferably in mining or resources.

• Proficiency in Pronto.
• Proficiency in Redmap.
• Proficiency in EPM.
• Proficiency in Accurri.
