Account Manager – Advertising Sales

About the role

Magic 899, part of ARN, is seeking an Account Manager to develop advertising solutions that give local brands a voice and drive revenue growth for the station. You will act as a strategic commercial partner, building trusted relationships with both local and national advertisers.

Key responsibilities

• Find, grow and retain client partnerships to maximise revenue and market share.
• Build trusted relationships with advertisers, identifying needs and developing tailored solutions.
• Develop compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Own sales budget, manage pipeline and provide accurate revenue forecasts.
• Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking and lead follow‑up.
• Collaborate with promotions, content, digital and sales support teams to deliver impactful campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, media, advertising or a commercial environment.
• Strong ability to build relationships and sell solutions rather than just products.
• Confident communicator with solid presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, resilient and commercially curious, with an interest in entertainment and media.
