Vehicle Readiness Specialist – Canberra

About the role

The Vehicle Readiness Specialist ensures Tesla’s new and used vehicles are prepared for delivery by managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and performing safety inspections. Based in Canberra, this role supports seamless vehicle movement between locations and to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle arrivals and inventory across multiple off‑site locations.
• Work with internal teams and third‑party logistics providers to generate shipping documentation.
• Conduct vehicle readiness inspections, safety checks, and report any concerns.
• Manage vehicle movement, charging, and direct deliveries to customer homes when required.
• Communicate with delivery, service, and operations teams throughout the delivery process.
• Troubleshoot issues, escalating to management as needed.
• Perform additional tasks to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence for Australia with a clean driving record and insurability.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg when required.
