Team Manager – Proactive Services

About the role

Join Woolworths Group as a hands‑on Team Manager within the Proactive Services team. You will work across multiple stores, ensuring trolley availability and pristine store conditions so customers and colleagues enjoy a clean, safe shopping environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team responsible for cleaning, trolley collection and waste support.
• Create and manage rosters to cover all daily operational tasks.
• Collaborate with Store Leadership to identify challenges, opportunities and priorities.
• Handle time‑and‑attendance activities, track hours, manage absences and ensure policy compliance.
• Order and manage consumables such as cleaning supplies within budget.
• Perform core operational tasks alongside the team, including cleaning, trolley collection and waste management.

Required profile

• Ambitious mindset with a passion for retail and people.
• Flexibility to work in varied environments – shop floor, fridges, freezers and car parks.
• Strong eye for cleanliness and detail.
• Physical fitness for demanding tasks.
• Organised approach to ensure team has necessary equipment and supplies.
• Comfort with regulated frameworks (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conduct).

Required skills

• Valid full Australian driver’s licence (green P’s or full licence).
• Ability to operate company vehicles for trolley collection.
• Understanding of food safety and industrial regulations.
